The Clemson Tigers have traded out flowing blonde hair for fresh pregame suits.
Ahead of the No. 3 Tigers’ marquee matchup against the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs, Clemson’s new starting quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei rolled up to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina rocking a clean pinstripe suit and hat combo.
To complete the look, Uiagalelei included a classic gold chain reading his nickname “Big Cinco.”

When former Clemson superstar Trevor Lawrence was forced to miss two games with a positive COVID-19 test in 2020, Uiagalelei stepped in as a true freshman starter. In his first game as QB1, the former five-star recruit led the Tigers to a 34-28 win over Boston College — throwing 30/41 for 342 yards and two touchdowns. In his next start against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, he put up a solid 439-yard, three-touchdown performance in a 47-40 double-overtime loss.
Now as a sophomore, the 6-foot-4, 250 lbs QB is set to take on the 2021 season as a full-time starter.
If Uiagalelei plays any where near how well he dressed tonight, the Tigers should be in for a great performance from the young quarterback.
Primed to be one of the best college football games of the year, Uiagalelei and Clemson will kickoff against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. ET.
