Coach Wade lands his center
NC State has signed a big man, Paul Mbiya from ASVEL international basketball team based in France. He’s played three seasons of international ball, this will be his first playing for a college in the US. The expectation is that Paul would start at center. The staff still hopes to sign Musa Sagnia to be the backup center.

Background:
Paul Mbiya is from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He started playing organized basketball at the NBA Academy in Senegal at 17.
He is now 20 and has played three season of International ball.
Paul is reported to have a 7’4” wingspan, is very athletic, and is expected to get even better with college experience.
