Graceville’s Xavian Sorey promises to be one of the more highly-sought after recruits in the country. He may wind up as a five-star recruit when all is said and done.
As of today, Sorey is a four-star player, ranked No. 61 overall in the 2021 class. 247Sports‘ composite rankings have him at No. 5 among outside linebackers and No. 10 in Florida, though he’s listed as an athlete elsewhere in his profile.
In the site’s internal rankings, he’s listed as a truly elite recruit. It has him No. 10 overall, No. 1 at his position, and No. 3 in his talent-rich state.
The three major Florida schools all make the cut for the Sunshine State native. Florida, Florida State, and Miami are joined by SEC programs Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, and Tennessee. 2018 national champion Clemson rounds out the group from the ACC.
