Let’s pick the winners of all the NFL’s Week 7 games.
The NFL is back in action with Week 7 starting tonight when the Broncos and Browns square off on Thursday Night Football. The Browns (-3.5) are currently the favorites since they’re the home team on a short week, but both teams could be without their starting quarterbacks. Teddy Bridgewater has been dealing with a foot injury and could miss action tonight, and Baker Mayfield has been ruled out for Cleveland (Case Keenum will start in his place).
There are a few quality games on the schedule this week, but I feel like it’s more fun to predict all of them to see how many I can get right. With that being said, let’s take a look at the games on tap for this week, the betting lines and my thoughts on who will win. If you’re up for it, feel free to add your predictions in the comments.

NFL Week 7 picks
Broncos (3-3) vs Browns (3-3) (TNF)
Point spread: Broncos +3.5, Browns -3.5
Over/Under: 42.5
Moneyline: Broncos +145, Browns -165
My pick: Browns 16 Broncos 13
It’s Thursday Night Football, which usually favors the home team, but both teams are dealing with injuries at quarterback: Teddy Bridgewater is dealing with a foot injury — even though he is expected to start for Denver — and Baker Mayfield has been ruled out for Cleveland. Because of homefield advantage I’m gonna take the Browns here, but I’m not very confident about it.
Bengals (4-2) vs Ravens (5-1)
Point spread: Bengals +6, Ravens -6
Over/Under: 47
Moneyline: Bengals +220, Ravens -275
My pick: Bengals 24 Ravens 20
This might be the best game of the week. It’s a classic AFC North battle, and I like what the Bengals are doing in their rebuild so I’m gonna pick them to upset the Ravens.
Washington (2-4) vs Packers (5-1)
Point spread: Washington +9.5, Packers -9.5
Over/Under: 48.5
Moneyline: Washington +310, Packers -410
My pick: Packers 38 Washington 10
The Packers look like they have forgotten about the beatdown they suffered in Week 1 against the Saints and are on a five-game winning streak. The streak will continue on Sunday against Washington.
Falcons (2-3) vs Dolphins (1-5)
Point spread: Falcons -2.5, Dolphins +2.5
Over/Under: 47.5
Moneyline: Falcons -140, Dolphins +120
My pick: Dolphins 20 Falcons 19
The Dolphins lost on a last-second field goal to the Jaguars in London last week, and I think they will inflict the same fate on their opponent this week. That might not happen, but I still think the Dolphins will pull off an upset over Atlanta.
Jets (1-4) vs Patriots (2-4)
Point spread: Jets +6.5, Patriots -6.5
Over/Under: 42
Moneyline: Jets +220, Patriots -275
My pick: Patriots 27 Jets 9
The Patriots are entering a rebuild but they’re still better than the Jets.
Panthers (3-3) vs Giants (1-5)
Point spread: Panthers -3, Giants +3
Over/Under: 43
Moneyline: Panthers -155, Giants +135
My pick: Panthers 23 Giants 17
I’m going with the homer pick here. The Panthers are the road team, and have struggled lately, but that shouldn’t stop them from ending their three-game losing streak with a win against the 1-5 Giants.
Chiefs (3-3) vs Titans (4-2)
Point spread: Chiefs -5.5, Titans +5.5
Over/Under: 57.5
Moneyline: Chiefs -250, Titans +200
My pick: Chiefs 30 Titans 21
The Titans are running roughshod over everyone with Derrick Henry at running back, but I think the Chiefs will use last week’s win over Washington as a spark to put them over the edge in this one.
Lions (0-6) vs Rams (5-1)
Point spread: Lions +14.5, Rams -14.5
Over/Under: 50.5
Moneyline: Lions +600, Rams -900
My pick: Rams 41 Lions 13
This one probably won’t be close. The Rams are one of the better teams in the NFC, and the Lions are… well the Lions are the Lions.
Eagles (2-4) vs Raiders (4-2)
Point spread: Eagles +3.5, Raiders -3.5
Over/Under: 49.5
Moneyline: Eagles +155, Raiders -180
My pick: Raiders 26 Eagles 17
The Raiders are still dealing with the aftermath of the Jon Gruden scandal, but I think they’re better than the Eagles and will find a way to come out on top.
Texans (1-5) vs Cardinals (6-0)
Point spread: Texans +17.5, Cardinals -17.5
Over/Under: 47.5
Moneyline: Texans +750, Cardinals -1250
My pick: Cardinals 36 Texans 7
The Cardinals are the team’s last remaining undefeated team, and that won’t change this week. This one should be a blowout.
Bears (3-3) vs Buccaneers (5-1)
Point spread: Bears +12.5 , Buccaneers -12.5
Over/Under: 47
Moneyline: Bears +475 , Buccaneers -675
My pick: Buccaneers 27 Bears 6
The Bears have a shiny new rookie quarterback, but the Bucs have the GOAT under center. The Bucs also have a defense that should feast on the rookie and force him to make enough mistakes to give Tampa the win.
Colts (2-4) vs 49ers (2-3) (SNF)
Point spread: Colts +4.5, 49ers -4.5
Over/Under: 44.5
Moneyline: Colts +170, 49ers -200
My pick: Colts 21 49ers 17
I’m think the Colts will pull off a road upset in this one. I don’t really have any reason why, I just have a feeling.
Saints (3-2) vs Seahawks (2-4) (MNF)
Point spread: Saints -4.5, Seahawks +4.5
Over/Under: 43
Moneyline: Saints -225, Seahawks +185
My pick: Saints 27 Seahawks 10
The Seahawks are playing with a backup quarterback and have struggled on defense in 2021 (they’re currently giving up 24 points per game). The Saints don’t have Drew Brees under center anymore, but they should be good enough on offense to put up enough points to beat a Seahawks team without Russel Wilson.
