Four-star small forward Manny Green named Pangos championship game MVP, updates recruitment

It’s the heart of summer camp season, and several players around the country are looking to boost their stock and show what they’re capable of against the top players in the country. For four-star wing Manny Green, so far so good.

Earlier this week at Pangos All-American Camp in Las Vegas, Green, the 6-foot-6 wing from Cedar Grove (GA), was a standout player and took home to MVP of the top-30 championship game. In that contest, Green scored 11 points in 14 minutes and shot 4-of-7 from the field.

Green wasn’t just a standout out Pangos, however. He’s been a solid piece for Nike EYBL’s Nightrydas Elite all spring long. In 11 games, Green has averaged 14.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 44.2% from the field. He’s had four games with 20+ points, including a 24-point outing vs. NY Lightning, where he drained 4-of-7 shots from beyond the arc.

How does Green describe his game?

“Excitement. Versatile,” Green said. “I can do everything on the court. Whatever I need to do. If it’s going bad, I’ll pick anybody up and guard them. Really do whatever to win.”

Green’s best traits right now are driving downhill and hitting mid-range jumpers. He’s working on his pace, coming off ball screens and his overall handle and feel for the game.

“The summer is going very good,” Green said. “I’m just adjusting and playing hard and trying to keep elevating.”

On the recruitment front, Green holds offers from Power League programs like Auburn, Cal, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, LSU, Missouri, Tennessee and Virginia. He said Florida and Tennessee were two schools who came through his high school the most, and programs like Auburn, Clemson and Missouri were also out to see him.

So far in his recruitment process, Green hasn’t taken any visits. He’ll be looking to set some up soon, more likely towards the fall. Here’s the four-star’s breakdown of some of the schools in contact most:

Auburn: “They play with grit. Bruce Pearl lets them play a little bit. But they create chaos and get out and run. It’s just SEC play, so.”

Clemson: “I like their wings. They let their wings play. They play inside-out and in transition.”

Florida: “Coach [Korey] McCray. I like their grit, playing hard, intensity and how they get out and run. [Todd Golden] has a winning mindset and he pushes his team to the best of their ability. I really like that.”

LSU: “They’ve been coming to watch me play and they’ll continue to keep watching me. They’re a great program.”

Missouri: “They play hard. They play well in transition, half court offense off ball screens.” Green was mainly in contact with Charlton Young, who moved over to Miami’s staff under Jai Lucas.

Tennessee: “I like the system and my ability to fit in their system and play. And their development and helping me get to the next level.” Rick Barnes and assistant coach Gregg Polinsky are mainly in contact.

When it comes down to making a decision, Green is looking for a school where he’ll be able to come in and make an impact. The development and ability to get to the next level will also be important.

Green comes from a family of athletes. His father, Curtis Raymond, played under Billy Donovan at Marshall while his mother, Melina Green-Cody, played college hoops at Alabama A&M. His brother, Adonijah Green, is currently an edge rusher on Louisville’s football team.

The four-star is ranked the No. 61 overall prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports. He’ll be back at Cedar Grove for his senior year of high school basketball.
