The Buffalo Bills return from their early bye, desperate for a win against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen is confident they can bounce back from their two-game losing streak. Allen also took responsibility for his role in their recent offensive slump. While he’s thrown for four touchdowns over the past two matchups, he’s also committed four turnovers (three interceptions and one fumble).
After heeding some key advice from his grandma, who told the league MVP to “smile more,” Allen looks to set an example for his teammates.
During the break, Allen kept a low profile, as did his wife, Hailee Steinfeld. While Steinfeld and Allen typically keep their relationship away from the spotlight, fans always glean more information about the couple in the “Sinners” star’s newsletter, Beau Society.
She revealed their official wedding photos via Beau Society following their May 31 nuptials and shared details of her bachelorette party last week. However, Steinfeld announced a major change to the newsletter on Friday, October 24.
Hailee Steinfeld Is ‘Excited’ To Move Her Newsletter to A New Platform
The 28-year-old shared in Friday’s newsletter, “Surprise! We’re on Substack now! After delivering this letter to all of you for the past year, I felt it was time to move! I’m really excited about it. I love Substack… Plus, there are so many incredible features Substack offers, so the party’s bound to be more fun here.”
In this week’s issue, she dove into the question, “Can you really have it all?” She wrote, “Maybe it’s my age, the fact that I just got married, or the nature of my career, but for whatever reason, this question all of a sudden feels incredibly relevant.”
Beau Society has garnered 87,000 subscribers since its launch ahead of the 2024 NFL season. A major reason Steinfeld started a newsletter was to create a better way to connect with her fans.
She reiterated in the “About Me” section on Substack, “I started this little weekly newsletter from my kitchen table. I named it ‘Beau Society’ because my nickname is Beau; it’s what everyone in my family calls me. In many ways, it reflects the most personal side of me.”
Bills QB Josh Allen Revealed Hailee Steinfeld’s Incredible Influence Before the Bye Week

GettyBills quarterback Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld attend the NFL Honors on February 06, 2025.
While Allen’s wife ponders whether she can have it all, it seems the Bills star has given this question considerable thought as well.
“My wife is an unbelievable, undeniable rock star in her work, in her life as a person. She’s everything I need in my life,” he told ESPN’s Marty Smith before the Bills-Falcons game. He credited Steinfeld for teaching him that “maybe I am more than a football player.”
“My whole dream as a kid, you know, has been to be in this position and I have never thought of anything outside that or beyond that. And hopefully, I get to still play this game for a very long time and ultimately, my goal is to play this for as long as I physically can. But there is life after it as well,” he continued.
“Getting married was the coolest, it was the most important day of my life. I get to understand that what I do is not normal, but I’d also be content with a different part of my life, however that may have looked.”
