Class of 2027 four-star forward Trevor Manhertz has cut his list to a final three schools, it was announced on Tuesday. The 6-foot-8 junior from Christ School (NC) has cut his list to Louisville, Duke and Indiana. Manhertz became one of the top stock risers in the country last summer while playing for Garner Road on the 3SSB circuit.
The sharp-shooting forward has recently taken visits to all three finalists and has reportedly begun seriously considering a potential re-classification to the class of 2026. Originally a member of the class of 2026, Manhertz may elect to reclassify again and enroll early, joining the program for the upcoming spring semester.
Ranked as the No. 63 overall recruit in the class of 2027, Manhertz has not announced a potential timeline for his commitment.
While Manhertz’s recruitment was once believed to be a two-school race between Indiana and Louisville, his recent visit to Duke has put Jon Scheyer’s squad firmly in the mix for the star forward.
