DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — The men’s basketball matchups for the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge are out, and one of the matchups will feature the reigning national champion against another Final Four team.
The Duke Blue Devils — who will have a completely new starting lineup after losing last year’s first five either to the NBA Draft or to graduation — are set to face the Florida Gators. Jon Scheyer’s squad was also in the Final Four, but narrowly missed out on facing the Gators in the title game after losing to Houston by three points in their semifinal matchup.
North Carolina State, under new head coach Will Wade, is also scheduled to play against another Final Four team. The Wolfpack will go on the road and play at Auburn in this year’s event.
The Tar Heels will also be an away team in this year’s challenge. North Carolina will be in Lexington to play the Kentucky Wildcats, who are one of their rotating opponents in another annual event, the CBS Sports Classic.
