DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — After a win Saturday afternoon in the first game of the 2025 Durham Super Regional, Duke baseball is now one win away from punching their ticket to Omaha.
The Blue Devils (41-19) and Murray State Racers (42-15) will once again face off Sunday afternoon at Jack Coombs Field. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
Duke won the first game in the best-of-three series Saturday afternoon, topping the Racers 7-4. Kyle Johnson had five runs batted in for the Blue Devils, including a two-run home run in the third inning.
If Duke wins Sunday, the Blue Devils will clinch their spot in the College World Series, which begins next weekend. If Murray State is victorious, the two teams will play again Monday in a winner-take-all game.
