PARIS (WNCN) — Duke women’s basketball is saying bonjour to the new season as the Blue Devils will face off against a fellow ranked team in Paris.
No. 7 Duke and the No. 16 Baylor Bears are set to clash Monday in the Oui-Play event to open the 2025-2026 women’s college basketball season. The game will take place at Adidas Arena in Paris, France and will tip off at noon ET.
The Blue Devils, who won the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament title, finished last season with a trip to the Elite Eight, where they lost to eventual national runner-up South Carolina. The reigning ACC’s Freshman of the Year Toby Fournier returns, along with veteran guard Taina Mair.
The Bears ended last season with a loss to then-No. 25 Ole Miss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Baylor’s roster has four players — including standouts Darianna Littlepage-Buggs and Bella Fontleroy — who have been with the program since their freshman season, but also have six new players to integrate into this year’s squad.
Up next for Duke is a matchup at home against Holy Cross on Sunday.
