Michigan State’s men’s basketball team will host Duke in a non-conference game at the Breslin Center on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Television and game time will be announced at a later date.
This will be the 20th all-time meeting between the Blue Devils and the Spartans, and the first meeting since Duke posted a 74-65 win over MSU on Nov. 14, 2023 in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis.
Michigan State’s last win in the series was a 75-69 win at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 1, 2020 in the Champions Classic.
The game in December will be the third game all-time between the teams at the Breslin Center.
Michigan State finished the 2024-25 season with a 30-7 overall record, including a 17-3 mark in the Big Ten Conference, as the team won the regular season title for the 11th time under Head Coach Tom Izzo and was selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 27th-straight season. The Spartans advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time and finished the year ranked No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25.
Second Annual Greenbrier Tip-Off Matchups Announced
Matchups for the Greenbrier Tip-Off Mountain Division have been revealed, featuring a quartet of contests that will feature power conference programs Virginia, Northwestern, Butler and South Carolina competing inside Colonial Hall at The Greenbrier on Nov. 21 and 23.
The event begins on Nov. 21 with Northwestern taking on Virginia and Butler facing South Carolina and will conclude Nov. 23 when Butler battles Virginia and Northwestern clashes with South Carolina. All four games of the Mountain Division will be televised on CBS Sports Network, with tip times officially being announced in the coming months.
