UFC 320: Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira Betting Odds

Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira will face off in a light heavyweight title clash at UFC 320. It takes place tonight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ankalaev enters the main event aiming to silence his critics and earn a more decisive victory over Pereira. UFC 320 marks his first light heavyweight title defense after earning a unanimous decision over ‘Poatan’ at UFC 313.

Pereira has had a meteoric rise to superstardom since joining the UFC. He is a former two-division UFC champion and successfully defended the light heavyweight championship three times before his loss to Ankalaev.

‘Poatan’ aims to regain the title from Ankalaev after admitting he was at his best in their first encounter. Pereira will need to display improvements in his grappling, especially after having difficulty against the fence at UFC 313.

Both fighters were more vocal during the pre-fight press conference, which has raised the interest level in their rematch.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Ankalaev enters as the -250 favorite. A $20 wager on the champion to retain his title would yield a total payout of $28.

Pereira, the former champion, is listed as a +198 underdog. If he regains the title, a $20 wager would yield $58.50.

 

 


Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira: Method of Victory and Prop Betting Odds

Beoynd the moneyline, there will likely be plenty of wagers being made on the method of victory and prop bets. Based on Ankalaev and Pereira’s respective fighting styles, there are appealing options for bettors looking to add some more value.

Ankalaev winning via decision is the most likely outcome, listed at +145. However, he is also surprisingly favored to win by KO/TKO at +290. This is somewhat of a surprise as Pereira is a former two-division Glory Kickboxing champion whose known for his striking.

On the other hand, Pereira’s best path to victory is winning by KO/TKO, listed at +300.

Oddsmakers believe the rematch will have a different outcome from the first fight. The fight not going the distance is currently set at -134. while the fight going the distance is set at +106.

The total rounds line is currently set at 4.5 total rounds. The fight ending under 4.5 rounds is listed at -122. For those betting on a five-round main event, the over 4.5 rounds line is listed at -106.

 

 


UFC 320: Ankalaev vs. Pereira Main Card Betting Odds

Aside from Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira, UFC 320 features other appealing matchups for her matchups for bettors.

First, Josh Emmett faces Youssef Zalal in a featherweight clash. Emmett, ranked No. 8, enters as +381 underdog. Zalal, ranked No.9 is a heavy -490 favorite.

Emmett reunited with former bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw to prepare for the surging contender. Dillashaw was known for his incredible cardio, so Emmett working on that could bode well in the fight.

In another exciting light heavyweight bout, Khalil Rountree faces former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka. Rountree, ranked No.4, is listed as a +176 underdog, while Prochazka, ranked No.2, is listed as a -210 favorite.

The co-main event will see Merab Dvalishvili defend his bantamweight title against Cory Sandhagen. Despite competing for the third time this year, Dvalishvili is listed as a sizeable -450 favorite. Meanwhile, Sandhagen is the heavy +350 favorite.
