Around Raleigh with Coach Wade
Coach Wade has this new transfer-centric world figured out. The players change so fast, so he’s going to make sure we get to know them. The second episode features Terrance Arceneaux. (If you missed it, the first episode is in this article) Good news, it sounds like Coach Wade will continue the tradition of playing a game at Reynolds.
Quick Refresher:
Terrance (6’6” / 205) guard was a 4-star transfer forward out of Houston with two seasons of remaining eligibility.
- Terrance’s grew up in Beaumont, Texas.
- Led Beaumont United High Timberwolves to Class 5A state championship back-to-back seasons, and as a senior was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. He scored 15 points with 10 rebounds and three assists in the title game.
- He was recruited to Houston as a freshman. He started one game but played every game averaging 3.0 / 2.7.
- As a sophomore, he suffered a season ending injury in his 11th game.
- As a redshirt sophomore, he played in all 40 games, starting 6. He averaged 6.5 / 2.7. He scored double digits 13 times including a season high 16, had 5+ rebounds 6 times including a season high of 9, had 6 assists in a game, had 3+ steals 4 times including one game with 4.
