Around Raleigh with Coach Wade

Any true Wolfpack fan is going to simultaneously get hungry and a little nostalgic watching this one. Everyone knows that picture of Jimmy V at the ESPYs. And let me tell you, if you haven’t been to Amedeo’s … I don’t know what to say. The Chicken Parm, the Stromboli, the pizza, the meatball sub – excuse me, it’s lunch time.

He transferred to Vanderbilt to play for Coach Stackhouse and started 28 games (missing the other six due to injury). He averaged 12.3 / 6.3. He led the team in FG% and blocked shots. That was Coach Stackhouse’s final season.

He transferred again as a junior. He averaged 8.6 / 5.6 and let the team in FG% with 67.7%, the second highest in school history for a full-time player. He also led the team in rebounding and blocked shots.
