DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — NC State baseball opens its 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference tournament campaign Thursday night.
The fourth-seeded Wolfpack (33-18) will play the fifth-seeded Clemson Tigers (42-15) in the quarterfinals. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
NC State had a double-bye as a result of finishing fourth in the league during the regular season. In their last series, they lost two of three games to Stanford at home.
Clemson earned its spot in the quarterfinal round by defeating No. 12 seed Virginia Tech Wednesday by a score of 6-1.
The winner of Thursday night’s game will move on to play Saturday afternoon in the first semifinal game.
