RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — For the first time in over a century, NC State men’s basketball will not be playing in either Chapel Hill or Durham during the regular season. They will, however, host both Triangle rivals in Raleigh.
On Wednesday afternoon, the lists of home and away opponents for each Atlantic Coast Conference team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season were released by the league. The recent reduction in the number of conference games combined with last year’s addition of three new teams means a new format for the league’s schedule.
Each school is paired with another for a permanent home and away matchup — which for NC State is Wake Forest — as well as a rotating opponent to face twice. For the Wolfpack this upcoming season, they will have a home and away series with Virginia.
Due to the constraints, each team will also have a league opponent they will not face during the regular season. This year for NC State, that team is Cal, a team they both hosted and visited last season.
Here’s the list of the Wolfpack’s home and away opponents this season. Dates and times for each specific game will be announced in the coming months.
