RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Earlier this year, it was revealed that NC State men’s basketball would not be traveling to play at either of their Triangle rivals for the first time in over a century as the Atlantic Coast Conference shortened its league schedule to make room for more marquee nonconference games.
The Wolfpack will, however, be hosting both the Tar Heels and the Blue Devils. On Tuesday afternoon, it was announced when those games would be as the ACC announced the schedule for league games this year.
In new head coach Will Wade’s first season, NC State will host North Carolina the week after Valentine’s Day and Duke on March 2.
After making trips to ACC newcomers Cal and Stanford last year, the Wolfpack will avoid another cross-country journey. But NC State will be making trips to SMU, Notre Dame and Louisville, among others.
Here is the Wolfpack’s full 18-game ACC schedule this season. Time will be announced later, as will specific dates for midweek matchups.
