The ACC’s annual meetings are underway in Florida, and like most of the league’s coaches, Will Wade is on hand to participate. He joined ACC PM yesterday to discuss his first offseason at NC State and the team he’s built so far.
This is where I’d embed the video, if that were possible. It isn’t, so you’ll have to hit this link.
Of note, he had this to say when asked about his roster:
“We’ve got some length, we’ve got some athleticism, we’ve got some defensive-minded guys, but at the end of the day we’ve still got to be able to score. We need to make sure that those guys who we have make a scoring jump and are able to show more offensively and then hopefully add another piece or so that’s got a little offensive pop, maybe a proven commodity, proven scorer, to put the cherry on top of the class.”
Hmm … wonder who he could possibly be referring to there. I sure hope it’s a dynamic, veteran playmaker who can score at all three levels! A guy like that would be right at the top of my wish list.
