We’ve all heard the stories about Coach Wade being into the details, such as checking the thermostats in player hotel rooms. This is a great example. Basketball players are competitive. This is a competition for excellence based on being accountable.

At the end of his second week of practice he has released a video of him announcing his ‘Player of the Week’, based on:

1. Showing up on time
2. Body, mind, nutrition
3. Effort – basketball wise
4. Being a good teammate
