“The culture, tradition and honor of a program is important to me,” Adams told 247Sports. “Also, the fans are second to none; they’re engaging and create a fun environment day in and day out for the team.”
He added: “(Hubert Davis) and I have established a very good relationship during the time he’s recruited me. I see his staff’s vision, I see myself contributing to the program and winning games.”

He is North Carolina’s first commit in 2026.
“Maxi is a great player but a better person,” Sierra Canyon coach Andre Chevalier told ZAGSBLOG. “He is a high level 3-point shooter and defender. This will serve him well at both the college and pro level. He is a foundation player for our team this year.”
Adams averaged 20 points and 11.4 rebounds on the Nike EYBL circuit this season.
Pretty undeniable that Maximo Adams was the most productive forward in the EYBL this season.
20.5pts, 11.4reb, 52% FG, 42% 3pt
Shot-making off the dribble, + the footwork, particularly noteworthy.
