Endorsement deals are already rolling in for one of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class.
North Carolina freshman Caleb Wilson has signed a multi-million dollar shoe deal with New Balance, he announced on Monday.
The five-star prospect and McDonald’s All-American is one of the top players in his recruiting class. North Carolina, however, is signed with Jordan, which will prevent Wilson from wearing New Balance sneakers on the court while at UNC.
New Balance is no stranger to making high-profile signings with an incoming freshman in the NIL era. Last year, the brand signed incoming freshman Cooper Flagg, who went on to be the No. 1 pick of the 2025 NBA Draft.
The brand has several notable basketball players signed to them, including Flagg, De’Aaron Fox and Paige Bueckers.
