The Carolina Panthers were active throughout the 2025 NFL Draft, making a series of moves to reshape their roster. They began the draft with nine picks — including eight selections in the first five rounds — but finished with eight total after multiple trades.
Round 1, pick 8, the Panthers stayed at No. 8 and selected Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, giving quarterback Bryce Young another top playmaker.
In round 2, pick 51, Carolina traded up to address its pass rush, selecting a defensive end to boost its front line. In round 3, pick 77, the team moved up again to grab another pass-rusher, continuing to focus on improving the defense.
And Saturday rounded out the draft by adding a running back, additional offensive help, and more size along the defensive line.
The Panthers’ aggressive approach throughout the draft focused on surrounding Young with more weapons while reinforcing their defense with key additions up front.
