CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — The Charlotte Hornets have re-signed guard Tre Mann to a three-year deal, according to an ESPN report Tuesday.
Mann is coming off a year that showed promise, but he didn’t play after Nov. 21 due to a lower back injury. Through 13 games, the 6-foot-3 Florida product was averaging a career-best 14.1 points per game coming off the bench while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania. Mann’s deal is reportedly worth $24 million.
He was acquired in a trade from the Thunder in February 2024. In four NBA seasons, he’s averaged 9.4 points and 2.3 assists per game.
The singing is the latest in a string of deals by the Hornets front office. Earlier in the day, a report indicated they traded guard Vasa Micic to the Bucks for Pat Connaughton and draft picks. On Monday, they reportedly signed center Mason Plumlee to a one-year deal.
