The Charlotte Hornets have waived guard DaQuan Jeffries.
Jeffries was originally acquired by the Hornets on Oct. 2, 2024, along with two future second-round picks as part of a three-team trade with Minnesota and New York. The Tulsa alumnus averaged career-highs across the board with Charlotte, posting 6.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22.8 minutes per contest, competing in 47 games (20 starts). Jeffries logged a career-high 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3P) on March 12, 2025, against Atlanta.
Jeffries, a five-year NBA veteran, holds career marks of 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per game across 111 total outings (25 starts).
