The Charlotte Hornets and Keyontae Johnson have signed an Exhibit 10 deal. Johnson will go to camp with the Hornets on a non-guaranteed deal. After the preseason, Johnson will likely land with the Greensboro Swarm of the G League.
In 46 games with the Swarm last season, Johnson averaged 16.5 points, 4.3 points and 2.2 assists. The 6-foot-4 wing shot 49% from the floor and knocked down 37.2% of his 3.2 three-point attempts per game.
The Hornets roster stands at the offseason maximum of 21 players. Charlotte has 16 players on fully guaranteed standard contracts, with the regular season maximum allowed being 15 players. That means that there are more roster moves coming for the Hornets over the next month.
