
Will the Canes wrap up the series tonight?
The Carolina Hurricanes are back in the nation’s capital to take on the Washington Capitals tonight for game five of their second round series. Game time is 7 P.M. and the game will be televised by TNT/truTV.
The Canes did quite well with their brief two game homestand as they outscored their opponents, 9-2.
Goalie, Frederik Andersen continues to shine and he leads all playoff goalies with a .945 save percentage and a 1.41 GAA.
The Hurricanes practiced yesterday and the lines were as follows:

Orlov – Nikishin
Gostisbehere – Walker
Brind’Amour stated after practice that Jalen Chatfield was just taking a maintenance day and he is expected back in the lineup for game five. We will see.
Carolina has done a great job of spreading out their scoring this series. The team has 10 different players with goals against Washington, out of their total of 12 scored.

On the other side, Alex Ovechkin also took the day off yesterday. Head coach Spencer Carberry said that he was also taking a maintenance day and he would play tonight.
