The second preseason came and went without much fanfare, as the Panthers lost to the Texans 20-3, to fall to 0-2 in the preseason, having been outscored 50-13 in the process. After claiming that the starters would play at least three series in their final tuneup before the regular season, they instead only played two series, resulting in just six plays. After the game, Dave Canales and Bryce Young both expressed their confidence with where they are at, heading into the final week of the preseason, while both have expressed their frustration with the lack of execution so far.
As he does every Monday during the Panthers season, Jim Szoke, longtime member of the Panthers Radio Network, joined the Mac & Bone Show on WFNZ, as Jim talked about the Panthers/Texans preseason game, he gives his thoughts on the starters on playing two series, why he thinks they need help at the cornerback position, and more.
You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
