The Carolina Panthers once again came close, but no cigar on Sunday, as a Bryce Young deep toss to take a late lead was dropped by rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette. This is 3 weeks in a row now where the Panthers came to play, gave it their all, but a missed play here or there caused them to fall just short of victory. Now, the Panthers face a reeling Cowboys team that is in a similar situation, however their QB situation is up in the air and they are in a state of trying to find their next steps, where the Panthers are building on some surprising performances that should make them look like a stable landing place in 2025.
