Defensive end Brian Burns became the first Carolina Panther to crack the NFL Top 100 at #76. The fourth-year player has yet to notch double-digit sacks in a season, falling just short at 9 sacks the past two years. Spidey Burns, however, has clearly gained the admiration from players around the league, landing ahead players like Leonard Williams and Jonathan Allen.
Burns has stepped into a leadership role in Carolina, and frankly is the most accomplished player on the defensive line. The attention will be on him, and he will certainly put the pedal to the metal in contract year.
