CHARLOTTE (BLACK & BLUE KICKOFF LIVE) — The Panthers will look to extend their undefeated record in Bank of America Stadium after a thrilling comeback against the Dolphins in Week 5.
The task won’t be easy as they’ll be facing the league’s top offense in terms of yards per game (406.6). They are also top five in yards per play (6.12) and points per game (30.2).
Stopping Dallas’s offense will be tricky; however, they will be without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for the third straight week.
Getting to quarterback Dak Prescott will be a test for the Panthers’ pass rush. Carolina only has five sacks this season (second-fewest in the NFL), and Dallas has only given up seven sacks (sixth-fewest).
It’ll be just as important for Bryce Young and the offense to keep pace against Dallas’s defense, the worst in the NFL through six weeks. Rico Dowdle, who had a career day with 234 total yards in Week 5, will look for another strong performance against his former team. The Cowboys are in the bottom half of the league in rushing defense, allowing 127.4 rushing yards per game.
