This week has been a chaotic week for Panthers GM Dan Morgan as he had to cut his roster from 90 to 53, and on Wednesday, he traded WR Adam Thielen back to Minnesota with less than 2 weeks before the start of the regular season. The Panthers GM joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the trade, among other topics.
The first topic involved the trade to send Adam Thielen back to Minnesota as Dan told Kyle that when the trade became a real possibility he said that Adam was adament that he really wanted to go back and finish his career in Minnesota, and Dan noted that he didn’t want to stand in his way, but he wanted to get a fair deal in return for the Carolina Panthers as the two sides went back-and-forth over the past few days before a deal was agreed upon on Wednesday morning.
Dan would also go on to discuss the potential future of WR Hunter Renfrow, and if more moves could be made to the roster before the season starts.
