It has now been a full week since training camp began for the Panthers in the shadows of Uptown Charlotte, with many standouts at this point. A man who has seen every Panthers training camp, Darin Gantt of Panthers.com, joined Kyle Bailey to give his main observations with fan fest right around the corner.
One of the biggest storylines so far has been surrounding the LB position after veteran Josey Jewell got cut right before camp, as Darin noted that he believes the Panthers want to get a good look at the new addition in Christian Rozeboom, and to give more reps to 2nd year player in Trevin Wallace, and that has played a big role into why they haven’t signed a veteran free agent for the position at this point. Darin also noted to Kyle that after the reinforcements they made up-front this offseason should help the LB core heading into this year as well.
Darin would go on to discuss Bryce Young and the young WRs flashing, as well as if this could be the last year RT Taylor Moton dons the black and blue jersey before entering free agency.
