Dan Morgan is entering his second season as the GM of the Carolina Panthers, and with him is Dave Canales, who is set to begin his second season as a head coach in the NFL. After a 1-7 start to his coaching career, Canales guided Carolina to a 4-5 finish down the stretch last year, and a three-win improvement, despite being just 5-12. Canales was hired to get the most out of Bryce Young, and it appears he’s well on his way to doing so, after benching him just two weeks into the season. And that’s the biggest reason why there is optimism and belief around the team, entering the 2025 season.
