Carolina Panthers fans were surprised when it was announced that star wide receiver DJ Moore was part of a blockbuster deal with the Chicago Bears that landed Carolina the #1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Moore, a fan favorite since the Panthers drafted him in 2018, had been a key player for the team, known for his impressive on-field performances and dedication to the game. While the move potentially allows the Panthers to land a franchise quarterback, parting ways with DJ Moore wasn’t easy for fans, and he will leave a void in the receiver room that is difficult to fill by the team.
