Welcome back to Monday Night Football
We have another Monday Night Football doubleheader tonight, with the Philadelphia Eagles traveling to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7:15 EST (ABC) and the Cincinnati Bengals set to host the Los Angeles Rams at 8:15 EST (ESPN).
Carolina Panthers fans should have no trouble establishing their rooting interests in the early contest, as the division rival Buccaneers were responsible for knocking the Panthers out of playoff contention last season and could well do the same tonight. A win would put the Bucs at a shocking 3-0 on the season. The Panthers, meanwhile, might not eclipse three wins this whole season at their current rate of progress and injury.
We here at Cat Scratch Reader are using the causal nature of our predictions to will the Bucs to a loss tonight. We’ll report back on how that goes.
