CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — Quarterback Bryce Perkins played the entire second half for the Panthers Thursday night in their preseason loss to the Steelers.
He had just signed with team over the weekend, following an elbow injury to Andy Dalton.
The 28-year-old UVA grad credits his faith in his return to the NFL.
“If it’s in you spirit, keep going,” he told CSL’s Gabe McDonald. “You never know when your second shot is going to come.”
Perkins is the reigning UFL Most Valuable Player, appearing in four games during the Michigan Panthers’ 2024 regular season.
