The Charlotte Hornets have been busy reshaping their roster with a mix of trades, free-agent signings, and fresh talent from the draft.
In a notable trade with the Utah Jazz, Charlotte acquired guard Collin Sexton and a 2030 second-round pick in exchange for center Jusuf Nurkić. The move gives the Hornets a dynamic scorer in Sexton while clearing space in the frontcourt.
The team also brought back veteran center Mason Plumlee on a one-year deal, adding size and experience after parting ways with Mark Williams.
On draft night, the Hornets added four new rookies: Kon Knueppel, Liam McNeeley, Sion James, and Ryan Kalkbrenner, each expected to bolster the team’s depth and development moving forward.
