With the 2025 NBA Draft complete, the Charlotte Hornets now turn their focus to Las Vegas for the NBA 2K26 Summer League — and their schedule is one of the most anticipated.

After drafting Duke guard Kon Knueppel fourth overall, the Hornets will face off against four teams that also picked in the top five, setting up potential matchups with rookies like Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecombe, and Ace Bailey.
Hornets assistant coach Chris Jent will serve as the head coach for the Summer League. Joining him on the coaching staff will be Blaine Mueller, Ryan Frazier, Jermaine Bucknor, Kemba Walker, D.J. Bakker and Zeke Chapman.
Charlotte is guaranteed four games, plus at least one additional matchup. If the Hornets win enough, they’ll advance to a four-team playoff set for Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, they’ll compete in a final consolation game later in the weekend.
