When it came to Scottie’s win over the weekend, Curtis thinks the biggest x-factor had to do with the fact that the first 2 days for Scottie were not his best performances, but he still had a shot, which Curtis thinks gave Scottie a chance to regroup, and led to his wonderful back-9 on Saturday, and once a guy like Scottie Scheffler has the lead, it’s extremely hard to take it away from him.
Curtis also discussed Jon Rahm’s performance over the weekend and previewed next month’s US Open in Corinth, Texas.
