This week, the Carolina Panthers had their mandatory mini-camp, marking the last time we’ll see the team before training camp in a little over a month. Joe Person of The Athletic joined Kyle Bailey to give his biggest takeaways from this week’s proceedings for Carolina.
While there weren’t any holdouts that made national headlines, there was still some chatter from Panthers camp this week, and it revolved around former number 1 overall pick and QB Bryce Young, as Joe explained to Kyle that while he looked nice on the field, that main story had to be with how confident he has come across so far this offseason as he explained that he has not heard Bryce Young trash talk this much, and it did seem reminiscent of what Cam Newton would do during practices, and while it doesn’t result in wins, it seems like a good sign for the 3rd year QB.
Joe would also go on to break down the contract situation with rookie Nic Scourton, and if Carolina is still trying to sign a safety before training camp gets underway
