Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd thinks Aaron Rodgers should make his way to Carolina in 2023.
During the most recent episode of The Herd, Cowherd suggested that Rodgers “follow Tom Brady’s lead” and go to a team that has a playoff-ready roster and talented coaching staff.
The Panthers have a young, up-and-coming roster and a solid defensive unit. That being said, they have a notable hole at the quarterback position. The team, now led by head coach Frank Reich, is exploring quarterback options in both the draft and free agent markets.
Rodgers still hasn’t made a decision on his NFL future. If he doesn’t decide to retire or return for another season with the Packers, he could request a trade to a team of his choosing.
The Panthers are far from a playoff guarantee, but Rodgers would vastly improve their chances. He would also, like Brady in Tampa, be by far the best quarterback in the division.
