After a disappointing week 1 performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Carolina Panthers are looking to dust themselves off and rebound against the Cardinals. Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the mood for the Panthers after week 1, and if a starter could be on his way back.
One of the biggest storylines heading into this weekend involves the status of LT Ikem Ekwonu after getting an appendectomy right before the season, as Mike told Kyle he thinks it’s likely that Ikem will suit up and play as of now, but he noed that we will not get an official word on the matter until Friday afternoon, and Mike noted how big that would be as they missed Ikem dearly in week 1.
Mike would go on to break down the disappointing start to the season for Xavier Legette and what challenges the Panthers will have to be ready for against the Cardinals.
