Fans vocalized their disapproval of the Carolina Panthers, who fell to 0-4 following Sunday’s 21-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Miles Sanders finished the game with just 19 yards on 13 carries. After the game, the running back responded to fans jeering them at Bank of America Stadium.
“It’s not cool,” Sanders told reporters, via Carolina Blitz. “It’s not cool at all, especially at home. It’s not a good feeling.”

Sanders signed a four-year, $25 million deal with Carolina after a Pro Bowl campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles. His Panthers tenure hasn’t started well.
Through four games, Sanders has just 158 rushing yards on 2.9 yards per carry. He’s converted a first down on seven of 54 runs.
The Panthers rank 25th in total offense and join the Chicago Bears as the NFL’s only winless teams.
“We can’t really get into a real rhythm,” Sanders said, via ESPN’s David Newton. Honestly, we’re not playing good football right now.
For better or worse, Sanders won’t hear any reactions from his hometown crowd for a while. The Panthers commence a tough road trip against the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.
After a Week 7 bye, they’ll return home when Bryce Young and Co. host fellow rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. While Sanders’ comments may be old news by Oct. 29, fans still won’t be happy if Carolina has a zero in the victory column.
