The 2025 NFL Draft starts at 8 PM ET tonight. The Carolina Panthers currently hold the 8th overall pick and are projected to be on the clock around 9 PM ET. This is the first year they have entered the first round holding a pick since they traded up with the Chicago Bears to select Bryce Young with the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Panthers are starting the draft with nine selections. Eight of those are in the first five rounds. Nobody expects the Panthers to stick at each of these picks, even if they can’t trade out of the eighth overall pick as they have been so publicly thirsty to do.
