
By Matt Audilet The Carolina Panthers are waiving reserve quarterback Matt Corral just one day after he made the team’s initial 53-man roster, per NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero. Corral was the Panthers’ third quarterback option behind No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young and veteran signal caller Andy Dalton. Corral entered the league as the Panthers’ 94th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Unfortunately for the former Ole Miss star, he suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury before his rookie campaign.
