Transactions
Signed LB Chandler Wooten off the 49ers practice squad. The third-year pro has bounced around the Panthers practice squad, active roster, and getting waived throughout the 2024 season. The 49ers ended up signing him to their practice squad on December 17, and an apparently jealous Carolina front office quickly reclaimed him from San Francisco by signing him to the active roster. This year Wooten has appeared in three games for the Panthers with seven tackles.
Waived DE Jonathan Harris. The 28-year-old veteran originally joined the Panthers in late October after the team signed him from the Miami Dolphins practice squad. He appeared in seven games for Carolina with 10 tackles, one quarterback hit, and a fumble recovery. After being waived by the Panthers he quickly signed with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.
