Carolina is forced to confront the dependency of an NFL team on the quality of its quarterback
For the first time in a long time, a Carolina Panthers quarterback was let down by his team after an individual effort that was worthy of a win. And the saddest part is that fans are excited about that.
Fan confidence in this team, largely taken as a referendum on their faith in Dan Morgan and Dave Canales, has been growing in recent weeks as Bryce Young’s play has been improving. That said, most fans were gaining confidence in the team at a faster rate than they were in Young.
This week we are going to try to separate those matters by asking if you are confident in the directions of the Panthers and in the direction of Young as distinct questions.
