CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — Panthers rookie Cam Jackson held a meet-up at a GameStop in northwest Charlotte on Sunday.
The defensive tackle out of Florida made the most of his off-day by playing a pre-released edition of Madden 26. But he wasn’t just there for that. He made time for fans or anyone who wanted to challenge him at the game.

With the season around the corner, he’s been busier than ever. But he says it’s important for him to connect with his new community… wherever he is.
“Being a football player, I’ve been doing this a lot. I did it at Florida, and I did it back when I was in school, in high school. It’s just, you know, a thing that I like to do. And that me, and my parents, and my team come up with. It’s just something that we do,” Jackson said.
Jackson gets back to work on Monday ahead of the next preseason game on Saturday, August 16, against the Houston Texans.
