CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — As the Panthers return home this week, the No. 1 question is whether quarterback Bryce Young will take the field Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Carolina (4-3) is looking to extend their winning streak to four games, and remain unbeaten at Bank of America Stadium. The Bills (4-2) come to town off a bye week, having lost their previous two games.
The team has signed quarterback Mike White to the practice squad, seemingly prepared to hit the field without Young this weekend due to an ankle injury against the Jets. Andy Dalton would start if Young can’t go, with White as the backup.
Bryce lacked a noticeable limp at practice Wednesday but was limited overall.
Coach Dave Canales says Young remains day to day.
Left guard Damien Lewis returned to practice after a shoulder injury, and fellow O-lineman Robert Hunt was working on the side while on injured reserve from surgery on his biceps.
