CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — Several players from the Carolina Panthers surprised patients at the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center in Charlotte on Tuesday.
Players including Bryce Young, D.J. Wonnum, A’Shawn Robinson, Thomas Incoom, Maz Mwansa, Nick Samac and Maema Njongmeta lifted the spirits of patients at the hospital’s infusion clinic. They spent the afternoon talking to patients and encouraging them to ‘Keep Pounding’.
Today’s event kicked off the Crucial Catch theme for this weekend’s game against the Dallas Cowboys at Bank of America Stadium. The Crucial Catch initiative aims to fight cancer through early detection and risk reduction.
